As I recall, what you have described is the drag / drop functioning as designed (at least this is the way it has always worked for me since its introduction) In RDAirplay drag puts an entry for whatever you are dragging to where ever you are dragging it to. If you happen drag something already in the log to another spot in the log, then it will put an entry for that in the log in the location you've dragged it to. If you drag an entry from RDLibrary or RDPanel, and drop it in the log in RDAirplay, it will put an entry for that item in the log. It was not designed to be a "move". Move is done with the Move button. If you end up with 2 duplicate entries, that's what the blue recycle bin at the bottom of RDAirplay is for - just drag / drop the blue bin to the entry you want to remove/delete.
