I replaced all of the larger capacitors in the rack unit of the Delta 1010 and the hum has gone away! I am very happy.
There is pretty tight physical dimensions on the caps which reside under the heat shield plate which screws into hex shaped spacers. So I suggest good measurements and care when ordering replacements. I ordered a replacement 9VAC 3A power supply from a dealer on Amazon.com. (My ebay Delta 1010 did not come with the power brick) I thought it was kind of pricy but it is a sizeable unit. My one complaint about it is that it has a lot of physical hum. If I had a 120V->10V transformer I think I would probably toss this and do my own. 120V--> 12V seems like just a bit too much voltage, unfortunately.
