If this were an actual broadcast radio station setup, with a jock in the
onair studio, I would think of setting up another linux machine as an
additional rivendell machine.  Others can point out if I am crazy, but in a
two machine rivendell network, I would make the main machine the main
server and rdairplay machine and then set up the second machine as the
multiple vnc machine. Let the users vnc into this and generate and edit
their logs, etc.

My thinking:

If the vnc users screw up somehow, they are not screwing up the onair
machine. If the network goes down for some reason, the rdairplay machine
can continue to run as a standalone machine until things get fixed.

Does anyone see problems with this line of thinking
