exactly what I need. So, I'll try to recompile Rivet, then.
Massimo, I'm already using the Tcl 8.6 packages from experimental,
and not a custom installation.
I tested myself Rivet with the Tcl8.6 package from experimental and it
worked except for a short time when a bug in Tcl caused child processes
to fail.
If you feel you want to be part of the process of testing Rivet 2.1 then
you may download the second release candidate
http://people.apache.org/~mxmanghi/rivet-2.1.0rc1.tar.gz
and give us some feedback. If you feel you want step up your involvement
you may test also the 2.0.6 bugfix release
