O.k. The issue I had was with Itcl4.0b6 and the rivet form package. "info exists" did not work for object variables: This was fixed here in march: http://core.tcl.tk/itcl/info/86458f4463 and is ok the bundeld version Itcl4.0b8 in the current tcl8.6b3 distribution. I had found a second bug (methods with spaces), which is also fixed.
