That took care of it.  Thanks.

As it turns out though, I went back and removed the old files and 
re-installed 1.3.4 and certain settings were added to the end of the 
config file.  In particular INSTALLDIR, TMPDIR, DBDIR and 
SCRIPTDIR.  I scratched my head over the script dir setting for a 
while until I found on the last 4 lines of the config.
