'rkhunter --propupd' didn't seem to update the the file properties either 
(which is why I was specifying individual files).
Running '/usr/local/bin/rkhunter --propupd {file}' seems to have worked fine 
though.

Could this be a cause of the email issue also? Is the system using 2 separate 
rkhunter binaries, which is why I had to force /usr/local/bin/rkhunter?
