I checked the archives and it looks pretty slow. I'm trying to install on a Dell CPx laptop. Having problems after the partitioning. When it asks for username creation and starts the software installation, it fails almost instantly.
I've been able to install linux on this laptop before (it's a dual boot WinNT 4.0). I've had RH and currently have SuSE installed and working. Even the PCMCIA modem and ethernet card. I've tried all the different partitioning options except use entire disk, all without success. Thanks. - -- rl-users list.
