I'm sorry... I actually got into Lizard (I heard the cool sound) but no video. Not too concerned about it at the moment but it needs to be addressed. Here's why:
Asus A7V Mobo AMD Duron 600@892 ATI Radeon VE 20 GB Western Digital ATA-100 HDD 40 GB Western Digital ATA-100 HDD 3.5" FDD Mitsumi CD-RW 4x4x24 Mitsumi CD-ROM 32x SoundBlaster PCI 128 Sound Card Realtek NIC This machine was basically built to support any OS. The only thing that's actually questionable about the whole setup is video. But other Linux distros have worked on this machine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: Joseph Cheek [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, October 10, 2001 3:55 PM To: Short Family Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [rl-users] rc1 installation what happens when you try to install RL? what type of system do you have? joe On Wed, 10 Oct 2001, Short Family wrote: > I can't even get Lizard started. > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of dc > Sent: Tuesday, October 09, 2001 8:50 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [rl-users] rc1 installation > > > I checked the archives and it looks pretty slow. > > I'm trying to install on a Dell CPx laptop.
