Kinda the same thing here mine gets stuck/freezes at searching for ethernet---just hangs there. Tryin' to install in safe mode gets me all the way thru but then fails at loading software---guess something is broke!! Mandrake and SuSE are runnin' fine along with Debian, all on this same box so something is'nt right. Since I am an end user ,and know zilch bout programming etc ,can't offer anything else than its broke---sorry, but just dropped this line to let you know you are'nt alone --------------------------------------A2L1---------------------------- > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of dc > Sent: Tuesday, October 09, 2001 8:50 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [rl-users] rc1 installation > > > I checked the archives and it looks pretty slow. > > I'm trying to install on a Dell CPx laptop.
