Well, I scrapped the dual-boot idea. By the time
I finished last night, I couldn't boot NT or Linux.

I was a little nervous, this is my work laptop.

Anyway, when I got to work, I ran Partition Magic
and fixed everything back the way it was.

I had an older laptop that I could use the entire
disk on, so I put RL on it and it went in just fine.

Only problem was the PCMCIA devices aren't working
and no sound.

It's complaining about /dev/dsp not being there (it's
there). And the CD AutoRun was spinning the CD-ROM
drive non-stop and putting a load on the system. I
killed it and my load avg. went back to normal.

Other than those things, it's working pretty good.

Runs a heck of a lot faster than NT ever did on that
laptop. It's a Dell PII-266 with 128mbRAM.
