In general there are very few drivers (especially for their pc's) that IBM
isn't going to support for linux.  An IBM T20 series is a good line of
laptops that's fully supported.  The Dell's have problems with modems being
integrated into the sound cards.  This makes them impossible to use.  That's
wonderful.  I like my laptop though and it's a Dell Latitude CPt.  Good luck
in your search.

BTW which kernel is the current version of RL using?
