Joseph was updating the site with the build 43 gold iso's tonight. I went and 
tried it and got a username password login box. This is probably why you had 
problems. It should be back to normal soon.

Redmond Linux uses rpm's

I don't think that's an option right now. You may want to post this to him as a 
feature request for the next service pack/release.
