Cindva am folosit aceasta optiune si a mers ok. Erau vreo 25 de
clienti diversi (linux, hp-ux, solaris) care montau via nfs (ver2, si
apoi ver3) acelasi lucru. Atunci kernelele erau 2.2 si necesitau niste
patchuri, pe 2.4 nu a mai fost nevoie si tot ok era.
