Vezi /usr/share/doc/initscripts-*/sysconfig.txt si scriptul /sbin/ifup.

Daca ti-e lene sa citesti atunci seteaza direct in fisierul de configurare al 
interfetei " MACADDR='noul_mac' ".

Adaugarea de comenzi prin /etc/rc.local tine de Slackware poate, in nici un 
caz nu e "the red hat way".
