In December, I installed dsl using SBC Yahoo. I told them I was using
Windows. After they had me online I switched to Linux. The only
advantage to using Yahoo's software is; 1. It makes Windows Explorer
look good. 2. Their diagnostics have always shown SBC to be the
source of a failed connection. I keep it installed just to save
myself the hassle. I originally was connected directly to the modem,
but I now go through a router. Mark is right, but if we want dsl that
means sbc. Just do like Ed says. Rich

It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed.
