Actually you can specify what is used to display the man pages somewhere in
your man config.  You can use cat, more, or even less.  Yes, there is a less
command.  It's like more but better more or less :)  I pipe my man pages
through less which makes a much nicer page display.

Often times when I have problems, I find a loose nut behind my keyboard :)
