OK, that leaves my AthlonXP 1900 (1.6GHz) out... Guess it's time to upgrade! Woo-hoo! On a side branch, has anyone had any experience with the new AMD Opteron chips? Since my main thing is digital audio (with Linux being a persistent time drain on the side) I've seen benchmarks and informal testing that show the Opteron runs my digital audio apps better than P4s, but I'm curious if getting one will affect my Linux dabblings.
