I'm running 2.6.3 on Gentoo and the only problem I've seen with it is 
the Alsa drivers - sound on my SB Audigy breaks up once in a while.  I 
thought I heard this has been fixed, I just haven't wanted to bother 
upgrading the kernel yet.  My CD-RW drive works like a champ; it's nice 
not having to do things the old way to get it working.
