That's a good question... I'm not certain whether he was one of the
smart ones or not.  I happened to be lucky or unfortunate enough to
work there during that time... I know many people who were paper
multi-millionaires... heck.. I was one myself... but a lot of people
saw the stock at a post-lockout price of $65/share and thought, "But
it's worth so much more when it goes back up to $320..." and
(yeah... crazy) didn't sell.
The number of these people who didn't sell is astonishing.  I happened
to be one of those who didn't get through my options cliff until it
was back down to 12... the issue price. :-)

This is all a very funny and sad story.. but I wouldn't be
surprised if he was one of those who drank too much of the kool-aid.. :-)

Unfortunately the insider tracker on yahoo doesn't go back to 99/00..
