Dennis,

I'm not really a MCSE type, but I did install Windows SP3 under VMware
just a couple days ago, then upgraded to SP4 and installed the VMware
tools then. Everything seems to be OK for me.

I really don't have an answer for VMware freezing your whole machine,
unless it is doing a keyboard and mouse grab right before it freezes,
making it seem like the machine is crashed. This sounds like a Windows
problem really. Any closet Softies in the group that can help?
