I have two linux computers and one win98 desktop and one xp notebook sharing via samba at work. But I travel a lot and only want to have one machine in my motel room when on the road. I recently bought a computer that has xp on a 40 gigabyte hard drive. I want to add a second bigger drive for a linux distro. The linux drive would be on the second drive the way I am currently envisioning the setup.
Would this arrangement still work with the grub loader or does the linux distro have to be installed on the first drive. john ---------- Original Message ----------- From: Jason Baurick <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [email protected] Sent: Thu, 21 Apr 2005 10:35:47 -0700 Subject: Re: [RLUG] Linux-Windows boot off separate drives > I use grub as well.
