Not to mention that a lot of their COMPUTERS are poorly secured as well.

Not to mention poorly secured household, poorly secured financial investments, poorly secured running shoes, poorly secured gown straps (see recent Sophie Moreau slip-down), poorly secured airports, poorly secured testicles (laptop heat causes infertility; wear an ice-packed jock-straps), and poorly secured countries (see recent invasion of Iraq and re-think testing resolve of big guys).

No wonder I'm not feeling secure today.

I misspelled her last name. It should have been Sophie Marceau. She is a very attractive French woman who has acted since she was a young girl. Most of her movies are French. Her first movie, La boum, had her swimming, as Terry Pratchett say, in the nood (she seemed to be able to swim like a fish). The movie has a strikingly innocent sensuality about it that can't be portrayed in American films. Other movies Americans would recognize would included Braveheart, in which she was Princess Isabella; The world Is Not Enough, Electra King; and most recently, Alex & Emma, in which she portrayed Polina Delacroix.

She is a very attractive, classy woman. She was chosen as Ambassador of Charm for France in East Asia where she is very popular, and is an avid animal and nature advocate. She's married to movie producer Jim Lemley and has two children.

No long ago, she was attending a large social function, and of course, at least one video camera was focused on her. She was dressed in a modest, not-very-revealing gown, but as she walked across the crowded room, the left shoulder strap of the gown, quite unintentionally but quite swiftly, slipped from her shoulder, and in the brief instant that it was down, it revealed her braless left breast.

I saw the clip when it was cryptically named "Sophie Marceau." The startled look of embarrassment that came to her face was not acting. The man she was passing could hardly avoid looking. I was embarrassed for her, quite frankly. She is a fine actor, but reflects that more in her French movies, her native language, than in the English ones.

So . . . I don't know if you want to know, but you asked, and I never give a short answer when a long one will suffice.

P.S. I know this has nothing to do with Linux, etc. and couldn't be farther off-topic, but if you're an official of the club, perhaps you can plead my case as being an old disabled fart whose only functioning organs are his finger and his brain, then only partially, and who wishes he could live long enough to see the Microsoft monopoly displaced by open-source software. The fact that I am an old curmudgeon, allows me to say that I don't like criminals.

Dennis,

Suggest, if using Gnome, you go to Preferences -> Preferred Application. Make appropriate changes there.

In KDE, similarly, Control Center -> KDE -> Component Chooser

William
