If the behavior of defaulting to /RPC2 was acceptable for the Python
standard library, then I think it is OK for RF to do that too. From what I
gather it came from people copying the behavior in the design of the first
XML-RPC server.
I still see this as a doc issue.
I have reached out to David to see if he knows of any servers are
path-insensitive in case you want to pursue a code change.
