Hi.
Paul is correct in what he says I want to do.
In answer to the suggestion a few posts back, I don't have a linux machine, I only have access to my xp laptop which is running xp home edition with a 1.80 ghz processor with 512 mb of ram. So can someone please tell me very simply how I go about setting up what I want to do? as as far as i no there are no pages in the wiki on this topic either for linux or windows users. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mark Allums" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

You are talking about a fork. Do you really want to do this?

It doesn't sound like he's talking about a fork. He said he wants to provide a build server for the unpatched code, while maintaining a patched version for portable use. Many developers do this all the time, simply because there's the "development" (patched) version of their code where they're working on new features, and the clean version for the build server.

My mistake. Sorry.
