+1 on the Xinha editor.
Although, one thing you didn't talk about in the proposal is the
migration path for users currently using rte. You can't just remove
that editor from the list and add the xinha editor and that's it.
On a related note, I have also been thinking about doing a very simple
"full preview" feature which may tie in nicely with these changes. It
would just be a very simple change such that if an entry has been saved
(in any state) then you can do a full preview of it using the
PreviewServlet and it would launch in a separate window.
The only work that would be required to do this would be a couple things ..
1. modify the jsp to show the "full preview" button when the entry has
actually been saved.
2. modify the preview system so that it could allow for draft entries to
be displayed.
I know that our users at BSC have been pretty unhappy with the entry
previewing capabilities, so even though this is far from perfect I think
it would be much more useful then what we have now.
