I'm running a build from the trunk, about a week old, to work on some comment features.
I get the new installation page and can add as many new accounts as I want to, but I can't log in with any. I see the new accounts with correct passwords in the user table. Yet all login attempts product the wrong-user-or-password message. No errors or warnings are logged. If anybody's encountered this before, could you save me some time and give me a tip? I really don't want to waste time on a distraction, but I guess I'll turn up log4j to Verbose, turn on DB logging, and find out why the right test isn't being performed. Any ideas to narrow the scope of my work would be appreciated.
