Hmm, perhaps you didn't catch the part in my snippet, I have the original
which says to give credit to 'Blade of - E -', and as the author stated, it
was messy code. I prettied it up, condensed it down, added functionality,
and posted it here. I did retain credit to him for creating the first
version. The reason I wish to use autosetting of stats for mobs is so that I
can retain balance between areas, so that no area will be unbalanced. If it
helps for understanding, the level is automatically set by changing various
stats on objects and mobs and whatnot. IE You add perm sanc to an object,
that object automatically goes up 50 levels (200 mortal), or if a weapon
gets all the 'good' flags, it adds 20 or so levels. Perm sanc would also
increase a mob 10 levels. Once I go online, the Head Builder will be able to
over-ride the autosetting functions in the event you have, say, a level 200
mob that requires a whole group of heros to take out, and the single weapon
they get is to be available for use by a level 180, yet have stats of
standard 200 weapons (or something like that).
