Because I don't read Romanian the facts are a bit obscure, but it seems the latest and most arrogant scandal in Romania involves the floods in the west.
From what little I have been able to see, Hungarian relief workers rushed numerous laRge pumps which were somehow used to alleviate the flooding. The thanks they got from certain segments of the Bucharest government and some newspapers was something like "Take your stinking Hungarian crap and get the hell back where you came from." Any clarity anyone can give would be appreciated.
