Dear partners,   We would like to inform you that our organization, Romanian Society for Lifelong Learning is partner in the European project CHEMITECH – System of Evaluation, Recognition and Validation of Technical Competences in the Chemical sector (under the programme Leonardo da Vinci  Es/04/B/F- 149246). The project started in October 2004 under the guidance of the Spanish coordinator Fondo Formacion Euskadi and the Spanish promoter FIA-UGT and has a duration of 2 years. The target group of the project consists of trade unions, enterprises, educational and labour administration bodies in the Chemical sector, as well as all the employees of the chemical sector. The specific objectives of the project are: -         To develop the transnational cooperation between different agents in the chemical sector for the European social dialogue; -         To identify the processes and key competences affected by the technological changes in the chemical sector and to elaborate the referential ones; -         To elaborate a methodology and hardware for the evaluation of the competences in the chemical sector; -         To create, to experiment and to spread a device for the recognition and validation of competences in the chemical sector.   The results of the project will be: Report about the main technological and organizational tendencies with impact in the Chemical Sector Process map involved in the chemical sector activities Report about the most important processes in the chemical sector and their sensitivity to the different technological and organizational tendencies List of the Competences associated to the key processes sensitive to the technological and organizational tendencies Good Practices Repertory for the Evaluation, Recognition and Validation of the Competences in the Chemical Sector. FINAL PRODUCT: System for the Evaluation, Recognition and Validation of Competences associated to the Key Processes sensitive to the Changes in the Chemical Sector (CD Rom multimedia)   At present the partnership has accomplished the first 3 products of the project. Proiectul a demarat in luna Octombrie 2004 sub indrumarea coordonatorului spaniol Fondo Formacion Euskadi si a promotorului spaniol FIA-UGT si are o durata de 2 ani. Grupul tinta al proiectului este alcatuit din sindicate, intreprinderi, organizatii educationale si de administrare a fortelor muncii din sectorul chimic, precum si toti angajatii din sectorul chimic. Obiectivele specifice ale proiectului sunt:   -         De a dezvolta cooperarea transnationala intre diferiti agenti din sectorul chimic pentru dialogul social european; -         De a identifica procesele si competentele cheie afectate de schimbarile tehnologice din sectorul chimic si de a le elabora pe cele referentiale; -         De a elabora o metodologie si un hardware pentru evaluarea competentelor din sectorul chimic; -         De a crea, experimenta si raspandi un instrument pentru recunoasterea si validarea competentelor din sectorul chimic.   Rezultatele proiectului vor fi: Raport asupra principalelor tendinte tehnologice si organizationale ce au impact in sectorul chimic Harta a proceselor prezente in activitatile sectorului chimic Raport asupra celor mai importante procese din sectorul chimic si sensibilitatea lor la diferite tendinte tehnologice si organizationale Lista a competentelor asociate cu procesele cheie sensibile la tendintele tehnologice si organizationale Repertoar de bune practici pentru evaluarea, recunoasterea si validarea comptenetelor din sectorul chimic PRODUS FINAL: Sistem de evaluare, recunoastere si validare a competentelor asociate cu procesele cheie sensibile la schimbarile din sectorul chimic  (CD Rom multimedia)   In prezent parteneriatul a realizat primele 3 produse ale proiectului.
