alta.
Anyway, daca votul american va fi ignorat, cel al
parlamentarilor europeni sigur va fi luat in seama de

MEPs submit
declaration on international adoptions

European Parliamentarians Claire Gibault, Jean-Marie Cavada, Antoine Duquesne, Charles Tannock, and Enrique Baron Crespo have submitted a written declaration on international adoption in Romania, calling on the Romanian authorities to "take due account of the European Parliament's opinion and consequently resume without delay consideration of pending cases, in the best interests of the children, and to authorize international adoptions where appropriate." In addition, the MEPs have instructed the President to forward the declaration to the European Council and the European Commission.

For the declaration to be officially adopted by the EP, 366
MEPs need to sign it in no more than three months. Until now, 36 EU lawmakers
have signed it.
If the declaration is signed by a majority of the MEPs, it is forwarded to the president, who announces it in plenary.
At the end of the partial-session, the declaration is forwarded to the institutions named in the text, together with the names of the signatories.
