 Well, it's always good to have a clear idea where you're going.  
   
 That said, it's kind of hard to know that sometimes.  You might know 
where you're going right now, but for long-lasting projects that flex, 
shift, and change, it can be a little harder to figure that out.  
   
 Still, my suggestion (where, in my mind, I was really thinking more about 
separating data from presentation, not about hard-coding vs. 'flexifying') 
would not be a terrible start, and could possibly start to give some ideas 
on what you could do with the AJAX technology to really enhance the web 
interface overall.
