Rose Data Modeler and Rose Enterprise do exactly that. Classes flagged as
persistent will get transformed to tables in a data model diagram. From
there (the data model diagram, and the underlying schema) - you can generate
your DDL - no extra scripting required.
Take a look a Rose v2000e and later - these releases support all this (for
Rose Data Modeler and Rose Enterprise versions).
