I just have a simple question. From your email, it seems like Rose Enterprise v2000e
should include the functionality of Rose Data Modeler. I'm using Rose Enterprise 2000e
for Sun Solaris, but I have not been able to find the data modeling features you are
talking about. I wonder if there is any difference between your 2000e version and
mine.

Rose Data Modeler and Rose Enterprise do exactly that. Classes flagged as
persistent will get transformed to tables in a data model diagram. From
there (the data model diagram, and the underlying schema) - you can generate
your DDL - no extra scripting required.
Take a look a Rose v2000e and later - these releases support all this (for
Rose Data Modeler and Rose Enterprise versions).
