You don't say whether this is 'Product Line' (i.e. loads of similar products doing similar jobs), 'Common Domain' (where systems do different jobs within the same domain, so tend to refer to similar concepts), or merely 'Shared Architecture' (the systems are unrelated but share a corporate framework and use similar technology). I think we can deduce from what you say that at least 'Shared Architecture' is envisaged. The need for a "logical common data structure" suggests to me that 'Common Domain' also applies. However, the fine detail w.r.t. what is an appropriate way forward will differ depending on which of these concepts apply, and which don't. I'd suggest that first you decide which of the concepts apply, so you can focus further research.
