Well, for me a use case is basically rather textual description than
plots (these are for me something which should help reader of a use case
by providing graphical view, but still the text is what really counts),
so I assumed you are extending your existing use case with activity
diagram.
Generally the statement of mine is: Identify scenarios, and first after
that consider activity diagramming (it makes it usually easier).
