I have a customer that is using state diagrams to model this type of behaviour. They have added this diagram to the Use Case storyboards as apecified in the Ux Modeling Plug-In.

The question is how to model this in an activity diagram. We have two possibilities (see attached zipfile) We have the feeling that flow1.gif might be easier for the end-user to understand, but the development team prefers flow2.gif Did anyone have a similiar problem or does anyone have an opinion on this?
