I was going to suggest you run up "kaconnect" on your system and check out the Rosegarden ALSA routing - however it seems our client has been modified to make it invisible to kaconnect. I presume that was Chris doing some fiddling to our ALSA client/port specification and I can't work out why it would be to anyone's benefit to hide our ALSA ports from being manually routed. Anyway, Ron, trying updating RG CVS and rebuilding and then taking a screenshot of kaconnect showing the Rosegarden connections against your sound hardware. You can forward that screenshot to me and we'll see if we can't sort this problem out.
