Yes, they claim they've diverted resources away from it in order
to improve the developer CVS access until they manage to get more
servers or something.  There was a vague August-ish date mentioned
for that.

Apart from anything else, anon CVS is currently configured to be
24 hours behind developer CVS (apparently).

I believe you have to be a registered developer of a project to
use its developer CVS (which I think is the only non-anonymous CVS
service).  I guess that's why SF can reliably divert resources
towards it without expecting it to just get swamped with
ex-anonymous users.  I think developer CVS always includes write
access as well as read access, too.

The whole situation is basically just a big pain.  I'm hoping it'll
improve in August so we don't have to get off our arses and do
something else about it.
