OK.  Let's do the simple thing first.  I'm pretty much ready to submit
the load/save code for the Segment Colours but I need to know where to
save the ColourMap in the .rg file.

Two options spring to mind:

Inside the <studio> </studio>

or

As a new top level element <appearance> </appearance> in which we'd
store the Segment Map, the various Colours that are being talked about
in relation to the Control Rulers.

Which do people prefer?  (Or is there a third option)
