Um.  I said "metronome" for some stupid reason.  The "metronome" button with 
the big red dot in it.  Yeah.  I also said "segment" when I meant "bar."  It 
was late.

It's the record button, and I can repeat this all day long.  It jumps back 
precisely two bars every time I hit record, and it doesn't record anything.
