If I recall correctly I added that because in some cases that method was being
passed negative times and would thus loop forever because
moveIteratorToTime() doesn't handle that case properly. But I'm not quite
sure of that. Leave it commented, we'll see soon enough if it cases any
problems.

I'd say go for the simpler solution : updating the control block is
practically a no-cost operation. That said, may be the sequencer has other
reasons to know whether it's recording...
