Yes, I should perhaps have been clearer -- the sequencer knows, it's 
only the MetaIterator class in the sequencer that currently doesn't.  
It could presumably therefore be made to.

By updating the control block.  It sounds like that's the thing to do 
then.

Yes, and the GUI enforces that correctly at the moment I think -- it's 
just that it isn't updating the information it passes to the 
sequencer, hence the current failure.
