Yes.

You probably meant to say six, but no, it has two, because 6/8 consists 
of two groups of notes.  There are two beats to a bar in 6/8.  Each 
beat has three quavers.

A better ruler would have two large ticks, and three smaller ticks 
within each space.  Rosegarden's just has the two larger ticks.

Ah, but that could also be 4+3 or 3+4 or 3+3+1.

I can't actually remember how Rosegarden divides 7/8 at the moment.  
Probably 7 equal ticks just because it can't make up its mind, but it 
could be any of the other ways for all I know.
