Yup.  Incidentally, I did have a play with twiddling the autoscroll values, 
basically in the hope that if I could increase how fast it responds, and 
increase the size of the jumps earlier in the acceleration process, it might 
make up for the reduced graphics rendering speed a little and even things 
out.  That line of thinking proved to be a dismal failure, and I dumped all 
that modified code.

Maybe I never sent that response, because I do remember testing that.  So 
let's see...  Create segment, move it, undo.  slotUpdate() gets called three 
times; apparently once per action.  The segment doesn't go back where it came 
from, however.

The one where you drag a repeating segment and it disappears from view forever 
is really quite nasty behavior.
