Hell no. Take all my code and throw it right out. Please! I'd love to see
that work well. I gave up in defeat a long time ago, but that doesn't mean I
don't think it's worth doing. I'd especially like to see some way, whatever
that way is, of doing all the things that RG just can't do yet. Maybe if RG
never gets proper multi-bar rests, flow control, A/B endings and whatlike
(which all make my teeth hurt thinking about how they would have to work
within our framework), it would be possible to invent some frigged up method
for putting tags in which would export to a score that came out with all that
stuff on the page. If that should turn out to be possible, it would make RG
immensely more useful as a notation editor than it currently is. I've
probably complained before that over 75% of the sheet music I have around
here can't be rendered in Rosegarden at all, and there's so much hand work to
do in Lilypond that it's not worth trying to involve RG in the process at
all, because it's just as fast to do it from scratch as to hack up the
exported stuff and try to do something with it. However, I *hate* coding
Lilypond. Bleah. I'd rather do it all in RG somehow or other, even if I had
to involve Lilypond on the back end to get the pages to come out the printer
correctly.

(Returning to ignoring you all.)
