Well it annoys me too :-). If I understand correctly this is really with 
1.1-cvs, not with 1.0 then ? Any idea on how to reproduce it ?

Run rosegarden with KDE_DEBUG=1, then when it crashes use gdb to get a 
backtrace from the core file. Don't try to run it under gdb.

Ouch, that one's bad. Can you send us (Chris and me) both files and the exact 
steps you're doing to reproduce it ?
