Ok, then I have to review the definitions, in order to concisely summarize. Here are the existing definitions: (a) 'channel' is 'a MIDI channel' (b) 'event' is 'an atomic event in Rosegarden' (i) 'track' is 'a set of events playing to a single channel' (ii) 'segment' is 'a subset of a track' (iii) 'composition' is 'a set of all events/tracks/segments' Now we would like to have that (iv) 'score' is 'a nested set of segments'. Comments and critics on this are welcome. Regards, Heikki ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
