Or maybe not. I'm not sure what this file is supposed to demonstrate. The two groups of quarter notes at the same time in bar one, and the two groups of 8th notes, they're both at the same time, not alternating voices. It's nonsensical notation, isn't it? There are several other problems with this, such as "supposed to be a crotchet up top" that I can't even resolve. Perhaps Chris will have to chime in on what this file was supposed to accomplish before we can fix it. If it's supposed to be a regression test, we seem to be regressing, because several bits of it are utter gibberish. -- D.
