I hate to waste the effort on that, but we should have released it while the iron was still hot. I would have already. I need to learn how to do releases. Given the near total vacuum around here now, I think it's time to focus on getting 1.7.0 out the door instead. It represents a hell of a lot of new work, and I'm getting tired of watching it rot while everyone plays Tiddlywinks. So let's officially call a string freeze, effective immediately, since nobody has any string changes in progress right now anyway. (We should probably update the Handbook before doing this, but since the Handbook is not well-translated anyway, and since many users read the online version, I don't see holding up a release over documentation. Especially considering our pitiful track record in this area under far better circumstances than those we face today.) I guess the next step is to update the translation stuff. I'll post another message directly. -- D. Michael McIntyre ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
